This is home of the Representatives of the Council of Chapters supporting the work of the Florida Native Plant Society. One Representative is assigned from each local Chapter statewide to communicate and coordinate between local and state efforts to preserve, conserve, and restore the native plants of Florida.

Dave Feagles, Council Chair & Board Director

Donna Bollenbach, Council Vice-chair & Board Director

Nicole Zampieri, Council Secretary & Board Director

Council Meeting Minutes are posted under the "Meetings" tab above. You will find all Council minutes archived there.

This document lists 4 ways to stop the sale of invasive species in your community. Ideally, every Chapter will take one or more actions now.

The FNPS Native Landscaping brochure, West Coast region template, was approved for publication by the FNPS Board on May 19, 2016. The Board also approved the commencement of fundraising of about $20,000 for the printing of all 6 regional brochures. You may recommend potential funders to Andy Taylor (andy@fnps.org) for all brochures, or recommend a local funder for $4,000 to print only your own regional brochures. Printing all 6 regions at the same time (60,000 pieces) significantly reduces printing cost, therefore all regions must be funded before the brochures will be printed (leave no region behind). Donna Bollenbach has completed the West Coast region template, and has begun populating the plant list and other region-specific copy for the other 5 regional templates. Contact Richard Brownscombe, project lead, if you have comments or concerns.

Regional brochure copy (content) and completed regional templates are posted under the "Initiatives" tab above.
