CoC Leadership Opportunities – Seeking Volunteers
Have you heard of the FNPS Council of Chapters? Would you like to learn more about how the Council strengthens FNPS by connecting chapters with each other and with state officers and staff? Want to help make FNPS a more effective organization?
Then nominate yourself – or other capable FNPS members – to lead and energize the Council of Chapters as one of 3 new officers. The Vice Chair and Secretary positions, in particular, are good entry positions. They are 1-year rather than 2-year terms this election. New officers take office in July (after orientation and training).
The Council of Chapters meets monthly via Zoom on the 4th Sunday of the month. The Council has representatives from all 31 FNPS Chapters. It functions as a committee of the FNPS Board and serves as a vital information conduit. The Council can support and strengthen Chapters, elevate local and regional issues, and share solutions throughout the Society.
Nominations are confidential. We will ask nominees to consent to being on the ballot.

Each officer should expect to spend 4-8 hours per month on Council business.
Please step up to help strengthen the Council of Chapters and FNPS!
