The Society relies on Chapter input to make sure they can communicate with Chapters, earn revenue from donors, provide insurance for field trip participants, help Chapters stay in compliance, and share Chapter successes.
Here are some of the things you can make sure your Chapter is keeping up-to-date with FNPS:
Chapter Contact Information - Make sure your Chapter information on the FNPS website is current. Send FNPS an email to update officers, contact email addressess and phone numbers, and other Chapter information. .
Report Hours - Make sure your Chapter is reporting volunteer hours. Go to the FNPS Member Database (link above and on right) and use your Chapter Login, then navigate to "Volunteer Hours Tracking" under Chapter Resources.
Insurance and Field Trip/Event Waivers - Make sure your Chapter is having all event attendees sign a waiver and scan and upload waivers to activate insurance coverage. Go to the FNPS Member Database (link above and on right) and use your Chapter Login, then navigate to "Council Google Drive" under Chapter Resources to find the "Field Trip Waivers" folder.
Chapter Bylaws - make sure your Chapter sends Chapter Bylaws revisions to the FNPS Executive Director.
Sabal Minor - Use the link on the FNPS website to submit articles to highlight your chapter and accomplishments and access past publications.
